There are lots of activities, tasks and games that children can do at home to support their learning in school. Please click on "Additional activities" or "Online and interactive activities" to see our list of useful sites and downloadable documents.
COVID-19 Home Learning
While not in school, we encourage children to continue learning in some way. This could be through reading, doing some art, exploring the garden, baking a cake, practising times tables...the list of possibilities is endless!
We have provided an example "Home Learning Timetable" IF you would like a structured day for your child during this unusual time. There is no expectation for the children to complete a typical school day while at home, so this timetable offers opportunities for children to undertake academic activities together with time outside, time helping around the house and 'down time'. Alternatively, create a timetable with your child, listing activities (inside and in the garden) that suit their needs and your available time.
We have put together a Weekly Home Learning Grid for families that would like a bit more direction to home learning activities each week (rather than seeing a long list of suggestions). To the right hand side, you'll see a page entitled "w/c..." where you'll find a Weekly Home Learning Grid and all applicable documents to go with it for each week that children aren't in school during our partial closure. We hope that each page will give you a little more guidance for a week learning from home.
