Houses

Our Houses are named after four aircrafts that were originally manufactured in Gloucestershire:

All children and staff are part of a school House.  The purpose of our House system is so that children and staff are able to feel a further sense of belonging beyond their class but with others across the school.  

Within a class, children are split approximately evenly between our four Houses and siblings are placed in the same House as each other.

Children enjoy House Sports events each term and, for the older children, these offer an opportunity for competitive sport within their class, across their year group and culminating in the Summer Term across the school on Sports Days.

Our House and Sports Captains are super ambassadors of our school values and mentors for their peers.  Captains are elected by their fellow Year 6s.  They have additional responsibilities throughout the school year, including being tour guides for prospective parents, helping younger children with their learning and organising sports resources and events.
